City Hall
Louisville City Hall was completed, for the most part, by 1873, at the corner of 6th and Jefferson. Though it was built on the site of other older government buildings, Louisville had no town hall of its own earlier. City government offices were housed in the Court House and nearby buildings.
Though there is somewhat of a mix of stylistic elements, the French Empire style is the predominant theme of the building.
